I really didn’t know how to title this post. Short and succinct seems to be the way to go. (I may regret those words – out of context – in the future…)
I started up two Crowdfunding accounts to help balance the cost of research and reproduction fees. As much as I enjoy researching and writing, I’ve reached the edge of my Opportunity Cost analysis.
Kids, cats, car repairs – all of these are alternative activities to concentrate on, and the opportunity cost for my writing (or vice versa).
If you’d like to help offset any costs of my projects or if you flat out enjoy reading what I create, please consider contributing to my Patreon or Ko-Fi account.
Any collected funds will be used for writing, researching, or material reproduction costs for on-going projects. I’d like to extend out a few projects into the audio realm (think Podcast!) and videos to help enhance the experience.
I will also say that funds may also go towards purchase of a coffee drink or beans to help keep caffeine levels high in my body.
A few years ago, I started a Go-Fund-Me for the Albuquerque B-29 crash project. It has been since deleted – I guess there’s a time limit for these – but I wanted to provide an update to the public. I’ve recreated the Go-Fund-Me just to provide an avenue for updates, not to solicit funds. If you’d like to track updates on that B-29 book project, you can view that page here:
If you choose not to participate, that’s cool too.
I enjoy what I do too much to worry about the consequences of my actions. π
